The
S/S Olympia was the first new ship built for the Greek Line,
which previously had only used tonnage. She was built in Scotland
and made her maiden voyage in 1953.
Initially,
she operated two classes with separate facilities on the North Atlantic
route, and did some cruises in the winter.

the Caribe for Commodore Cruise Line, and is now the Regal
Empress for Regal Cruises.
Built
as the Empress of Canada for Canadian Pacific, after this
ship operated for Greek, she became Carnival's Carnivale.
Then she served as the Fiesta Marina for Fiesta Marina Cruises,
a short-lived division of Carnival, and the Olympic for Royal
Olympic. Now the is the Topaz owned by Paris Katsoufis
and operated by Thomson.
